HR Advisor - Job Summary - Ensure all personnel related issues for dedicated vessel is taken care of as efficient as possible. Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Ensure that all activities, for which he/she is responsible, are carried out in conformance with laws and regulations, contractual requirements and the Management System Manual. In particular health and safety of personnel, natural and working environment and equipment shall be taken care of. Solve ongoing personnel issues in a flexible way, and according to the existing set of rules. Ensure that the vessel is manned in accordance with agreed manning plans with proper qualified crew. Prepare plans and queries regarding salary Take care of Pension- and Insurance schemes and queries Give support and advice regarding budget preparation Supervise travel arrangements for offshore/tankers personnel Participate in the emergency response team Monitor Sick-leave (Statistics, preventive measures and observation of people off due to sick leave) Update relevant procedures Updating/maintaining OCS Personnel Administration System. Supplying salary dept. with all necessary monthly input, including control of timesheets from vessel(s). Supervise the agreement between the company and agencies Instruct the agencies of company’s procedures, and ensure that the agencies have established and maintain a sufficient system to ensure that qualified personnel are employed in all positions and that the competency of all personnel is assessed in accordance with these procedures. Assist Operations Manager as required. Experience/Qualifications - Experience of dealing with offshore CIPD qualified, or studying towards. Candidates with experience of OCS systems would be preferred, but not essential
