Typical background and experience required: The position requires a professionally oriented Construction practitioner, who has significant experience in the implementation of field construction welding methods and processes At least 12 years’ experience on large scale industrial projects A minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar position Familiarity with welding codes and standards (structural, piping and equipment) Ability to function in multi-disciplinary construction team and has coordination, supervisory, and interpersonal skills throughout all phases of Construction, Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning Must have: Experience on large EPC projects Fluency in written and spoken English Experience in overseeing and/or coordinating construction activities with regard to structural, piping and equipment welding works Must be progress driven without compromising safety or quality standards An engineering degree from an accredited university Ability to advise and assist with decisions on Construction matters and communicate with all levels on the project Nice to have: Construction Engineer or coordination experience on Oil and Gas projects in Middle East Arabic or Korean speaker
