Position Summary:

Reporting to the General Manager, BDM is responsible for identifying avenues for maximizing revenues and market share for Laboratory Scientific and Analytical Products. Performance will be measured by: Addition of new principals to existing portfolio ;market share/share gain.

Responsibilities:

This position will require significant inside and outside Kingdom travel.
Define target markets and identify market-specific product requirements.
Collaborate with Corporate marketing in support of efforts to promote Products, including trade shows and trade show materials.
Provide product-specific technical information and support to the field sales group, representatives and Distributors, to maintain an awareness of Spectra and competitor products.
Disseminate relevant information to the sales force, explaining how best to present the company's capabilities.
Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by visits to customers and non-customers.
Support Marketing and Sales enablement in developing a company-wide go-to market plan, helping in developing standard presentations and demos.
Analyze potential partner relationships for the product.
Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a relevant Scientific or Engineering discipline with 5 years business development management OR Sales Management experience.
Strong leadership, technical management and communication (verbal, written, presentation) skills.
Ability to work well across the organization with a strong appreciation for product development and technical teams
Experience of Lab Analytical Instruments (Chromatography and Nano technology or products used in plant automation would be a distinct advantage)
Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation).
Excellent spoken and written English skills.
Strong business orientation, with experience in a commercially challenging setting.
