We are currently recruiting a Project Services Manager for our operations in Atyrau, Kazakhstan to manage all project control functions, systems and procedures; providing managerial support and expertise in governance interface and stakeholder relations; and lead task forces for ad hoc management tasks as required. You will develop and manage contract plans and strategies, ensure effective contract administration in support of Contract Holders, and build annual budget plans for all project activities.
The Key responsibilities are:
Coordination of contract management services to the Department and Contract Holders seeking to continually improve the contracts management and administration process.
Manage and oversee the Directorate’s budgeting, cost control and planning processes, including: development, revision and monitoring of multiyear and annual work programmes and budgets; cost/schedule analysis and reporting; daily cost and planning management activities; and co-ordination of cost and planning control system activities.
Manage divisional reporting processes and all related interactions within and outside of the organization, including evaluation of reporting requirements, design and revision and ensure compliance and timely submission to internal and external stakeholders.
Lead the analysis and presentation of current and future high level stakeholder issues that have strategic operational and business impacts. Ensure the timely preparation of periodic project control materials and other related documents.
Manage and coordinate the allocated multidisciplinary team, for the full contract close-out process, including documentation and contractual issues.
Ensuring all the documentation, deliverables and scope have been obtained during the project and interfacing with QA/QC and Mechanical Completion Department to assess the consistency and completeness of Contractors deliverables.
Managing the negotiation and the settlement with Contractors for the Final Account.
Manage the cost recovery issues for assigned contracts, leading interfacing with various departments within Company to minimize non-recoverability of the costs.
Significant experience in in Project Service activities including high value contracts and contracts of strategic importance.
Contract Administration experience essential; including managing a team of contract administration and cost control staff.
Candidate must be an effective communicator.
Higher education (University degree or higher) in a relevant specialty.
Familiarity with organizational processes, project management implementation, risk analysis and cost control
Strong knowledge & experience of joint ventures, PSA’s and JOA’s, budgets & work plans, standard workflow - best practices.
