Offshore wind farm developer currently seeking a Procurement professional to support the Procurement Manager across all procurement and contract administration activities. The role will be working on a long-term contract based in Scotland.
Support the Procurement Manager and the project team on all procurement and contract administration activities.
Liaise with the team to identify services and material requirements on the project.
Monitor compliance with project procurement procedures.
Support procurement of services and goods for the package as required.
Support development of commercial and ITT documentation.
Facilitate contract negotiation and execution in liaison with the technical and legal teams.
Track and file all correspondence with suppliers.
Maintain procurement trackers and prepare commercial summaries.
Prepare budget estimates.
Support the commercial team in:
Control of accounts
Invoice review and management
Monitoring of payments
Support the Procurement Manager in the administration of supporting contracts.
Support the preparation of contract variations.
Ensure all commercial documentation is filed.
Manage internal and external stakeholders in relation to procurement activities.
Act as a champion for procurement processes and support the team in understanding and applying them.
Ensure all contractual / commercial records are filed and maintained.
Contribute to process improvement, share and record lessons learned.
Experience in procurement
Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with contractor companies
Some negotiation experience, ability to keep calm in difficult situations
Strong commercial and cost/value awareness
Good reporting skills with knowledge of cost/change
