Primary purpose of job
Develop and monitor management tools and methodology for assessment of Qatar Petroleums asset portfolio* and suggest portfolio actions for alignment of asset portfolio with QPs business strategy / objectives, priorities and to maximize long term value for QP. *
Experience & Skills
Minimum 15 years work experience in various disciplines related to the Oil & Gas industry. This must include a minimum 10 years with emphasis on asset portfolio management, M&A activities, corporate strategy or similar functions. Requires strong leadership, organisational, analytical and communication skills. Ability to manage inter-department relationships as well as senior management / partners executive relationships. Excellent problem solving, financial, economic skills as well as ability to work in multi-cultural environment. Excellent oral/written communication skills in English are required. Arabic is a plus.
Education
Bachelor degree in an appropriate engineering or relevant discipline from a recognized university. Related postgraduate qualification (MSc. Or MBA) is recommended.
