Job Responsibilities

Working as part of the PMO team, this role is responsible for overall project scheduling and tracking, working closely with the project/program managers/leads to ensure continual work across all programs/projects, and the effective use to resource to meet agreed milestone.
Consult with the appropriate project/program team members to ensuring proper planning is completed prior to the commencement of work.
Formulate and develop advanced scheduling that gives continual work flow for the overall work program ensuring all components of the project are completed within the expected delivery timeframes.
Advise and support the PMO, Project and Program Managers/Leads to meet their Delivery, Safety and Quality objectives through efficient scheduling.
Monitor and maintain the master schedule for each program/project. Identify and record the progress of work to baseline milestones, identify corrective actions.
Develop and maintain summary level schedule reports Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, and other program management tools used to support critical path analysis, near-term tasks work authorization, priority based resource allocations, performance variances, and to support cost/schedule integration.
Integrate multiple schedule into a master project schedule, base lining, status, performance measurement baseline budget at completion (BAC), Cost Performance Index (CPS), Schedule Performance Index (SPI), Estimate at Completion (EAC), and Estimate to Complete (ETC).
Work in collaboration with Project/Program Management team to drive consistency of the project scheduling approach to facilitate accuracy in project execution and reporting.
Schedule estimating through elicitation of stakeholders to capture estimations of new work, updated actuals and remaining work.
Identify major milestones, decision points, project life cycle and other project events.
Identify potential gaps, risks and obstacles that may compromise the success of project/program, trouble shooting, and presenting appropriate strategies to overcome barriers.
Assist in defining and implementing schedule software (MS Project, Primavera, or specific program mandated software, etc.) management processes and procedures regarding scheduling conflict/changes.
Maintain accurate records/paperwork.
Facilitate and participate in weekly, monthly, and quarterly schedule reviews.
Ensures the adherence to schedules, deadlines, and project milestone.
Continually monitor and review progress to plan throughout the life of the project in conjunction with Project Manager/Leads and PMO.
Coordinate inter-project/program dependencies including equipment and resource allocation.
Prepare standardized project status reports, and assists in validating and tracking project delivery activities.
Communicate with project/program manager/leads and project resource, and ensure their attendance at required meetings.
Ensure that scheduling operates in accordance with the company's management systems.
Assist project/program manager/leads plan the most efficient use of resources within the project.
Provide governance over project/program related scheduling and resource decision.
Maintain the overall management and oversight of the program, balance the need to closely monitor subordinate projects/programs without being drawn to the fine detail.
Maintain focus across a broad range of project/programs, manage often conflicting requirements.
Ability to synthesize information from various reliable sources into an integrated schedule.
Effective communicate the outcome of the schedule development or update process by presenting targeted and relevant information from schedule in elegant and effective formats by reporting the right information to the right stakeholder at the right time.
Maintain safe individual working practices and take active steps to maintain own safety and that of others, ensuring that all incidents and potential hazards are identified reported including near misses.
Qualification and Skills

Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
Minimum of 5 year's experience in scheduling and planning of projects.
Subject matter expertise in Project Management and PMO skills to develop and manage integrated master schedule and the supporting detailed schedules.
Extremely proficient in MS project and primavera, Visio and MS office.
