We are looking for HR Advisor for our client branch office in Dubai. The Client is one of the international Dredging company .This requirement is from 1st September for the limited period of duration of 5 months period of time or it may extended depending on company’s requirement and candidate’s performance.
48 hours per week
preferable to be on husband sponsorship.
Must be available in UAE for Direct Interview
Key Responsibilities :
Supervises the intake, promotion and outflow of staff and all the related tasks such as recruitment and selection, the assessment process and dismissals.
Provides experience-based input to policy proposals (and adjustments to said proposals) in consultation with the Area manager so that duties can be carried out in a professional and efficient manner.
Ensures that HOD/managers receive advice on personnel-related matters that enables them to achieve the best possible staffing in terms of both quality and numbers.
Makes observations and gives regularly advice and importantly during the annual staff assessment and salary review process of all locally hired Middle East employees in accordance with company procedures, in order to ensure company-wide consistency in the area.
Instructs the allocated Personnel Assistant and coordinates the activities in accordance with the working existing procedures, the aim being to realize a quality personnel administration system for the area of responsibility.
Coordinating recruitment of temporary, permanent & contract employees. Provides full support in local manpower requirements whenever new awarded project in Area Middle East.
Responsible for preparing job offers, employment contracts, company policies as per UAE labor law or as per project location – their labour law in the Area Middle East.
Part of Management Team which is responsible for decisions regarding annual review of employee's performance & salary and variable remuneration.
Manage a team of P&O staff including facilities like pantry, kitchen and reception.
Responsible for payroll inputs to the Payroll department and for Full and Final settlement of departing employees.
Responsible for arranging health medical Insurance, EBS (HRM – based on Oracle E-Business Suite), and maintaining employee’s information in records.
Always keep up to date to the Area management with all relevant current information through local media and take action whenever necessary.
Responsible for all negotiations involved while arranging medical insurance annual policy, recruitment agents service fee etc.
Keep updating our Netherlands - head office whenever information has been asked or needed.
Qualification Skills & Expertise:
Good organizational skills and interpersonal skills ability to understand detailed information and effective working relationship.
The ability to analyze, interpret and explain the legal framework regulating employment.
Integrity and approachability, as managers and staff must feel able to discuss sensitive and confidential issues of the Job Holder.
Influencing and negotiating skills, to implement personnel policies.
The potential to handle a leadership role and ability to form judgements relatively independently.
Higher education degree or diploma in Personnel/ HR management with at least 5 years of Middle East experience in the same relevant field.
Well versed with MS Office (word, excel and Power Point) and Good command of spoken and written English
