The Procurement Document Controller will work as part of the EMEA Sourcing team, under the direction of the Regional Sourcing Manager, and interface extensively with the Project Management Team, including Document Controllers and Engineering technical teams.
The role involves the following activities:
Review of comments received from client on Procurement documents (Sourcing Strategy, Bidders list, unpriced POs
Engagement with Sourcing and Project team to close out comments, update documents and return to Project Document Controller for returning to client
Preparing Procurement documents with project specific cover sheets
Liaise with Project Document Controllers to provide a current summary status for Project Procurement documentation
Storing of documentation on MS SharePoint
Skills Required:
Technical based qualifications A-level minimum, HND/NVQ preferred.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the Company.
Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in the use of PC based tools and software (Excel, Word). Previous use of SharePoint preferred
Must be able to perform effectively with general guidance.
Work accurately to avoid rework.
Previous Document Control experience is essential
