To support operations by providing in-house expertise to ensure that suitable operations standards and procedures are in place to allow for the implementation of a performance based approach, driven by competency assessment and monitoring of related quality assurance requirements.
a.) Support Emiratization.
b.) Develops and maintains operations employee performance standards.
c.) Ensures operations procedures are practical, accurate and fit for purpose.
d.) Provides technical expertise and advice on updating operational manuals.
e.) Identifies and update/maintains technical standards, codes of practice and specifications in line with world class practices.
f.) Monitors and update as appropriate FMF documentation.
g.) Reviews and updates existing work procedures to ensure conformity with worldwide practices.
h.) Monitors and provide related expertise on new projects.
i.) Monitors / control related document control system.
j.) Carries out audits of sites procedures and operations documentation changes.
k.) Reviews and comments on process related standards and training matters to ensure fit for purpose procedures and methods are adopted.
l.) Liaise and coordinate with professional bodies/institutes and organizations to discuss and keep abreast of latest developments in the field.
m.) Performs other related duties such as, coordinating with other related departments.
a.) Identifies and update/maintain competency assessment standards and task books.
b.) Assist line management in implementing appropriate Operations & Training & Standards.
c.) Ensures appropriate standard of training to encourage best performance from employees across Business Units.
d.) Provides support to ensure that quality training is being applied across Business Units.
e.) Identifies and defines resources and strategies to implement Training Standards across the Business Unit.
f.) Setup procedures and develops material to apply appropriate quality training to get best results.
g.) Support and encourage the application of competency based development methods.
Organizational Relationships (Work Contacts):
Frequent Contact with Department Heads, Supervisors for exchanging information and suggestions related to the developing and maintaining operations procedures and ensure they are fit for purpose.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualification & Experience:
a.) University Degree.
b.) 8 to 10 years Site experience.
c.) Appropriate operations experience.
d.) Good knowledge of international standards in his own field.
e.) Fluent in English.
f.) Computer literate.
g.) Proven communication with excellent interpersonal skills.
h.) HSE aware.
