•Handle all service desk reception duties, including incoming telephone calls, incoming faxes, in a polite and efficient manner.
•Evaluate information requests received and manage or redirect as appropriate.
•Coordinate local office initiatives with appropriate office staff.
•Coordinate day-to-day service administration activities.
•Coordinate service calls with the engineers.
•Coordinate with the product managers as needed.
•Update the installation planner in coordination with the product managers.
•Coordinate with logistics to ensure spares are given to the service engineers as needed.
•Ensure the database is updated daily with all relevant info.
•Assist the engineers to complete their timesheets as needed.
•Ensure accurate records and files are maintained for all activities.
•Promote a ‘clean desk’ policy and ensure all office and workshop areas are kept clean, tidy and safe.
•To coordinate closely with the sales team and their requests for service.
•Accurately create customer invoices following workshop repairs.
